Single crystal sapphire supports broadband transmission from ultraviolet to mid-infrared. ZnS, ZnSe and germanium materials focus on mid-wave and long-wave infrared, widely matched with thermal imaging infrared detector modules.
All finished domes undergo spectrophotometer transmittance and reflectance testing before delivery. Customers can specify target wavelength, transmittance threshold and inspection sampling standards according to system optical design.

Surveillance optical domes work outdoors for a long time, facing sand impact, seawater erosion, dust friction. Sapphire material effectively avoids frequent scratch damage of optical windows.
Anti-reflection coating improves optical efficiency; regular cleaning maintenance is still required in severe dust environment.
Light reflection on the dome surface will reduce imaging clarity, cause ghost images and reduce detection distance. Customized single-layer or multi-layer anti-reflection coatings can greatly improve light transmittance.
