Q17: Will the gloss be varied after assembly.

At FELIX GLASS, we guarantee that the gloss of our optical glass, display glass panels, and AG/AR/AF coated glass products will remain stable and consistent after assembly. We understand that gloss variation after installation can cause visual defects, uneven brightness, and poor user experience, which is why we have implemented a comprehensive multi-stage quality control system.

 1. Why Gloss Stability is Critical
Gloss consistency is a key performance indicator for glass used in automotive smart cockpits, industrial HMI screens, medical devices, and consumer electronics. A significant gloss variation after assembly can lead to uneven light reflection, dark spots, or bright spots, directly affecting the visual quality and performance of the final product.

 2. Our Technology to Prevent Gloss Variation
To ensure zero gloss variation after assembly, we utilize advanced manufacturing and coating technologies:
- **Precision Coating Process**: Our AG (Anti-Glare), AR (Anti-Reflection), and AF (Anti-Fingerprint) coatings are applied using state-of-the-art vacuum coating equipment. The coating thickness and surface texture are controlled with micron-level precision, ensuring a uniform gloss across the entire glass surface.
- **High-Precision Polishing**: Before coating, all glass surfaces undergo precision polishing using advanced CNC polishing machines. This eliminates surface defects and ensures a uniform base texture, which is the foundation for stable gloss.
- **Uniform Material Properties**: We source high-quality raw glass materials with consistent surface properties. Defective or uneven raw materials are eliminated during the incoming inspection, preventing gloss issues at the source.

 3. Strict Assembly Process Control
During the assembly process, we take specific measures to protect the gloss:
- **Protective Handling**: We use specialized tools and fixtures to handle the glass, avoiding mechanical stress, scratches, or friction that could alter the surface gloss.
- **Clean Environment**: All assembly operations are carried out in dust-free and humidity-controlled environments to prevent contamination that might affect the surface finish.
- **Adhesive Selection**: We work with customers to recommend suitable bonding adhesives that are compatible with our glass surface, ensuring no chemical reaction or stress that could cause gloss changes.

 4. Post-Assembly Verification
After assembly, we conduct rigorous verification to confirm gloss consistency:
- **Visual Inspection**: Our QC team inspects the product for uniform gloss, no color difference, and no local bright or dark spots.
- **Quantitative Measurement**: We use professional gloss meters to measure the gloss value (at 60° angle) of key areas. The post-assembly gloss value must match the pre-assembly standard within a tiny tolerance range.
- **Long-Term Stability Test**: We conduct simulation tests under high temperature, high humidity, and UV irradiation to ensure the gloss does not decay or vary during long-term use.

 5. Our Commitment
At FELIX GLASS, we promise that under normal use and standard assembly conditions, the gloss of our products will not vary significantly. We provide a one-year warranty for all products. If any gloss variation issue occurs due to manufacturing defects, we will provide free replacement or repair.
